My baby is 14 weeks old and I have breastfed him since he was born. Without julienne, I don't think I would have made it past 2 weeks! The reason I've kept it up is that Julienne taught my baby to latch well early on so when it's going good, it's a wonderful bonding experience that words can't really describe. I ran into lots of problems - infections, thrush, swollen nipples, excessively fussy baby, baby with food sensitivities. It has not been easy but Julienne has guided me through every step. She's always "on call" it seems, even sometimes quite late in the evenings. She is very empathetic, kind and of most importance, competent. She's helped me to sort out every issue so far. I can't recommend her highly enough!

"Our experience with Julienne has really been amazing. We have had one visit to begin with, which was extremely useful to understand our baby's cues and work around them for a perfect latch. Julienne also taught me different positions that allowed me to breastfeed while lying down, sitting etc. After that, Julienne has always answered my questions when I called or messaged her. Highly recommended and well worth it for a long breastfeeding journey!!!

Our son had a full anterior tongue tie and we used Julienne Espineli’s services to assist us with this. She attended our house to advise us on ways forward and cut the tongue tie. In short, Julienne was fantastic in every way - she was clear and responsive in her communications with us before our appointment, she took the time to understand our son’s medical history and specific situation and she performed the tongue tie removal quickly, efficiently and expertly. Julienne was extremely professional at all times - she took the time to understand our concerns and was very responsive to our needs. She was caring, empathetic and compassionate and made what could have been a very stressful situation into a positive experience for all of us. Julienne offered clear advice throughout the appointment, including on how to continue to care for our son after the procedure, and stayed closely in touch with us after the appointment which we appreciated. Julienne came over to assess my baby and cut his tongue tie. She was very kind and caring as well as professional. She explained everything very clearly to us and helped us decide what was best for us and our baby.
She was very knowledgable and I am extremely grateful to of had someone like her come for the procedure. Being a new mum I was very emotional and scared for my baby. But she put us at ease and the procedure was very quick. She spent a lot of time talking through the aftercare as well as helping me feed and making sure my baby was ok and settled. I wanted to take the time to share the positive experience we had with Julienne, and the impact she has had on our breastfeeding journey.

I contacted Julienne after several weeks of struggling with my baby's Iatch, which resulted in slow weight gain and a lot of worry for myself and my partner. Julienne very kindly offered to come the next day, despite it being the weekend!

Julienne quickly found that my daughter had tongue tie and communicated the impact and risks and benefits of the next steps, as well as a thorough overview of aftercare. Everything was communicated in a clear, concise and compassionate manner, which put myself and my partner at ease. As well as helping with the frenotomy, Julienne offered support with our latch, ensuring we felt as comfortable as possible.

Furthermore, Julienne continued to offer support after our appointment- through the provision of additional information and by checking in to see our progress. This support was invaluable.

I'm delighted to say that my daughters latch is much better, and she generally seems much more content. I can't thank Julienne enough- without her I don't think we would have continued our breastfeeding journey.
